Greetings! I am looking for my "lost" half-sister who relocated to the Tampa Bay area some years ago. Her name is Jeanie Ruth Dobson. She has also used the last name Carle. She may have remarried or passed away. Her DOB is Jan 16, 1936. She was born in Slaton, Texas. Father Bryant Dobson and mother Edith Bagle.

Pls let me know if you have any leads. Would dearly love to find her or find out what may have happened to her.

Understandable, but there is a subforum here on CityData.com called "People Search" for this exact reason. Maybe OP could try there, too.

No, she would not have changed her names, but might use a variation...Jean Ruth or Jeannie Ruth. She was last known to have gone to the Tampa area. She may have had friends in Gibsontonville as in her early years, she was married to Vaughn Clark Carle (now deceased). Yes, she has children. Her first daughter and I connected last year through findagrave.com where she had located pictures of our family. My father was also Jeanie's father.

to Maniachthw: we never had contact. She married and moved to Calif when I was little. I have traced her from Calif back to several towns in Texas, Tampa and so on.

I think your off on her DOB. Looks like it's Jan 17 1936 not 16. I'll send you a possible that you can check out.
