Please, please help my father in search of his birth father G Moss (this is all we know of his name) YouTube - JIMSEARCH's Channel the video explains more, it is only two minutes long.
If money was ordered to be paid, it would seem there would be more detailed records at the court. If the money was paid until you were 16, that would be about 1960. Shouldn't there be some records with at least a full name, date of birth or address?
If you go to the Social Security Death Index on Rootsweb and put in just G for the first name and Moss for the last name, you come up with 34 people with that name who have died. Not all will be the right age, but some are. If you see the V under their date of death, I believe that means they were a veteran. Maybe it will help, maybe not. I wish you luck with your search.
