Hello Antonella,
My name is Andrea. My father's name is Peter A. Messina. I know he is originally from Viagrande, Sicily and my grandparents are still alive and living there. They came here to live in Lawrence Mass many years ago.
Today we are living in Methuen Massachusetts, the next town over from Lawrence. My parents own a small restaurant in Lawrence where they sell Crispelli's and Rice Balls, a.k.a, Zepoli's and Arongini (please excuse my awful Italian spelling). It is called the Italian Kitchen. They are at 91 Common Street in Lawrence Massachusetts.
Feel free to stop by or call. My father would be happy to talk with you.
Wish you the best.
~Andrea

Messina Family
Ciao Antonella!
I don't know if this will help, but there is a priest who lives in Winchester, Massachusetts / he is the parish priest of St. Mary's Church there.
Father Richard Messina is his name. He's a wonderful, dear person and I'm sure would be happy to speak with you. Maybe you are related?
Buona fortuna! Did I say that correctly?
Ho studiato l'italiano nella scuola, ma non dimentico troppo e mia familia non parlano la lingua a casa.
Maria

I'm a Messina too
Antonella,
I live in the US, and am 20 years old, my fathers side of my family are Messina's, and my great grandparents came here from Sicily, actually from Messina, Sicily. I've always wanted to somehow find my relatives in Italy, and I really want to know about them. My great granfathers name is Joe Messina, I will ask my uncles more about them and when they came to the US, from Sicily, but I would like to know more about you and if you know of many others "Messina's" that are from Sicily

Hi Antonella, greetings from Lawrence Mass, I do know of a Messina family, who have a carpet store which I have purchased from ,I will give you there business phone # and address, there phone # is 1-603-898-3700, there business address is 419 South Broadway, Salem, N.H. 03079, just to let you know when the first Italians family came to Lawrence they setteled in the Common St. area which was refered to as Little Itily, but as time went buy as everything they moved on up and out, it is now little Santo Domingo, lots of familys move into New Hampshire, what we called the white flight. Hopefully the Messina's are your family if not they can proberly be instumental in helping you locate your family branch. Hope this was helpful to you. Charlene Valladares
