I was told he died on may 1,how can i find out if he really did?Does anybody know him?He is from Fairbanks but could have been in Minto,Alaska at the time..thanks!

When was he born? How old is he? And did you mean just this last May?

Looks like he is Russell D. Daigle and has lived in Minto, AK and North Pole, AK. It looks like Minto is "close" to Fairbanks. I can't find a local newspaper for Minto yet, but it appears that the local paper for Fairbanks is the newsminer. Here is the site for their obituary archives:

I did not see it but you may want to double check me.
Also, not everyone is but in the Social Security Death Index, and even if they do put someone in it can be up to 6 months after the death, so you might want to keep checking that site. It is:

I know a Russ from Fairbanks. I am trying to find out anything I can, but so far nothing. I will trying calling him or his daughter and let you know what I get, if anything!
