Dear Mr./ Mrs.
I'm Thijs Van der List , I'm a Dutch Boy. This year I adopt the grave of Lawrence H Larson , he's killed in World War 2.
He is burried at ABMC Henri-Chapelle , Belgium. Lawrence is born in Barron County , WI. Sow I would you ask of you have information about him ? He was a paratrooper from A Company , 508th PIR. I'm looking near his Family or Friends.

Yes, I agree, very noble and kind of you to undertake this task. When my mother was a little girl here in America, there were no veterns groups to take care of the graves in the town where she grew up. Her father had fought in the Spanish-American War and the two of them would go to the cemetary on Memorial Day and on Veteran's Day in November and pull any weeds, clear away the fallen leaves and place flags by all the graves of the veteran's. I hope you are able to find some answers about your soldier, thank you for doing this.

1918. Thanks. I'll see what I can find.
The enlistment info you posted from Ancestry does not say Barron County..you added that part to your post. There are 2 Lawrence H. Larsons who enlisted in Wisconsin, neither says Barron County, which is why I asked for the birth date. The other one was born in 1901. If you have reason to believe your posting is the correct one, that's the one I'll search for.

On ancestry I can found only this , the webmaster of the 508th PIR website tought that he lived in Barron County. Thanks for help !
