Hi,
I seem to have fallen down the genealogy tunnel....am trying to trace the generations of my Garrigan grandfather back to his grandfather Patrick, from Ireland. My grandfather's parents, Peter B., and Ruth S, lived in Carney, MI.
They had four children: Stewart Samuel (my grandfather), and his siblings Donald, Ronald, and Myrtle.
Does anyone have any information about the Garrigan family of Carney and, specifically, about the grandfather, Patrick, who emigrated from Ireland?
My biological fathers name is Donald Garrigan. I have recently decided to search for him. I know he is of Irish decent. I dont know a whole lot. I do know he lived in Texas and served in the military, also, was deployed several times to Vietnam. He and my mother divorced in 1974. I am hoping you might be able to give me some direction in my search. I hope there are more appropriate methods other than Google type search engines. Any information you have or help you may give would be greatly appreciated.
