I am trying to find my father. I am 20 years old and the last time I saw him I was 14. I got a card from him on my 16th birthday with White, Georgia as the return address. No street or house number. I know his ss#, birth date, mothers name, marriage history, and my two brothers. I have looked all over but I can't find any real leads. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since you have his SS# you can request that Social Security forward a letter to him giving him your contact information. If he then wants to contact you, he can. It costs $25.

Please protect his SSN, do NOT give it to anyone. NONE of the regular, reputable searchers will ask for it. If you get any messages saying the will help you if you provide his information, please disregard them.

Sent you a direct message.

Moderator cut: going a bit too far here...
OP, go to court and file for back child support.
It doesn't matter that you're 20 now; in most states, you can file for 7 or 8 years after the fact.
With his social security number, they'll find him for you.
If he's working, they'll find him. If he's not working, they'll still find him.

We NEVER encourage anyone to share a Social Security Number. In fact, the moderators will remove it as it violates TOS.

He finished out his child support, but the the cs recovery program insisted that because of privacy laws they couldn't even give me a work number or forward him something from me. Even though he was my legitimate, biological father. He and my mother were married for 19 years and divorced when I was 11 or so. Believe me, I tried it. I feel like he just doesn't know where I am. After they divorced we kind of grew apart. I saw him Thanksgiving 5 years ago, he was supposed to come back to get me and spend Christmas together but he never showed. We moved a few months after that. Same town and all, but the phone had to be switched to a different company so the number changed. I don't know. I've always kinda tried to look for him. His mom and brothers don't seem to know where he is either. I don't know if he is hiding from me or what, because we used to be really close. I was a daddy's girl, you know? I can suppress urges to find him sometimes, but other times it drives me crazy. I just wanna talk to him.

Joseph Lee Hill, Sr.,
DOB - 03/14/1962,
Married twice - (that I know of) to Kimberly K Hill (my mom), and Sandy Silva/Presley,
Three children - Brandy Hill, Matthew Hill, Joseph Hill Jr.,
Last KNOWN residence - White, Georgia but Lived in Barnesville, Georgia for around 18 years. Griffin, Georgia for 1 year, and maybe Cartersville, but not sure.
I doubt this will help any, but he is 6'7" tall, which is the only outstanding feature I can think of. I don't recall him having any tattoos.
