I'm looking for long lost relatives in Columbus, GA. Last name "McFarland".

Hoping someone here can help me out, and maybe pass the word to some living relatives.

I'm looking for descendants of:
Robert Henry McFarland - passed away in 1975.
More info can be found on his biography here:

His wife was Eunice McFarland -she passed away in 1990.

If you know any of the family, or could pass my contact info to them - I would appreciate it.

Robert's mother Artie, was my great Aunt.

If you know the location of the graves, and the name of the cemetery (which is shown on find a grave dot com) call the church and/or all the funeral homes in the city.

Contact the county, or city, library and locate the obituary columns.

They likely contain the names and locations of survivors.

Locate the funeral home that handled it. They can tell you who paid for the funeral of Robert. Same thing for his Mother.
Robert's siblings and his kids may have attended the two funerals.

You can do all that by telephone, e-mail, and the library websites, if you are not near the area. It has worked for myself and other people I know.

I have a family member who I am researching who is listed as the son of Annie and Henry Dewberry (also from Columbus, GA) it appears they took him and took care of him although it was not their biological son. Is this the same person, who is of African-American descent. I am doing genealogy research and came across this name.
