I know this won't do any good, but I had a great-aunt named Katherine Jackson. She was born in 1885 in Missouri and died (I think) in 1940 in Chicago. She lived in Chicago with her husband, Sam Lee. Again, not much to go on. Katherine's mother was named Artie. She died in 1930. Katherine had a brother born in 1894. His name was Clarence. He died in 1990 in Missouri.
I don't think Katherine's parents were married yet in 1880. I can't find Artie Jackson on any 1880 Census. I don't know what Artie's maiden name was. By 1900, Artie is listed as a widow. And the 1890 census was destroyed in a fire. I'll probably never know who Artie's husband was. I also don't know who Artie's parents were. I don't know really anything about Katherine Jackson Lee.
If anybody knows anything about them, or knows how I could find anything about them, I would appreciate it. I had a friend search Ancestry.com, and there's almost no information on them.
