I have in my possession a framed elementary school graduation diploma for a Sollie Frank, who graduated in 1925 from School No. 7 in Bayonne, NJ. (I honestly don't remember how I came to own this. As I recall, it was in a box of stuff I "inherited" from the owners of a company I worked for that went belly-up a few years ago. They collected all kinds of stuff, and they took what they wanted from the company and left the rest. Somehow it ended up in the trunk of my car.)
Anyway, it's kind of neat. Pretty elaborate for a grammar school diploma, and I thought maybe his family might like to have it.
Looks like there are still a lot of Franks in Bayonne, NJ. If you look on zabasearch.com, you can easily see if some are related by typing in a part of their address to search the page (Control, F on the keyboard). For instance...there is a Herman Frank and he has several relatives living on the same street or at the same house. They may or may not still live there, but at least you have addresses and some have phone numbers. You can also check peoplefinders.com. It might be easier to pick up the phone and call some of the older people who are listed. Good luck.
Thank you so much, ecam. Will try. Appreciate the help.
