Ok, I thought all history pulled from anyone other than the person goes against you.
Not sure what you are asking w/the last comment? Credit card companies consistently run your credit to make sure you haven't taken out a ton of other cards and run up debt, etc.

I posted in English. I thought when you pull your credit report it gets reported on your credit report and there for looks bad. I did not know credit card companies run your credit after you get a card from them. Still confused?

There are two types of inquiries. Hard and soft.
Hard is when you apply for credit and soft is when the card issuer or any creditor you have pulls your credit to see if you have charged up a bunch of other things putting them at risk for getting paid.

You give them permission when you signed your card.
They have to keep an eye on you as many people continue to get credit cards and pile up debt they cannot pay.
Recently many larger companies have pulled credit reports and lowered credit limits and raised rates on people who went out and got more credit cards.
They are lending you money therefore they have the right to keep an eye on what you are doing credit/debt wise to assure you are not a risk to them.
