Curious if anyone has received their tax refund via direct deposit yet. We are not getting much of a straight answer on when to expect it. The chart on the IRS site says they would be sent out on the 25th for the date accepted but the IRS people say by the 8th we should have it.

Not getting one. Don't want one. I prefer to pay a small amount rather than letting the government money hold onto my money for me. I have better uses for it on a week to week basis.

Oh. And like many tradesman, I put off doing work in my own household. I haven't even filed yet. In a couple of weeks when it gets REAL slow, I'll do my own.

I am not getting one this year...I have to pay..." Yo Quiero Vivo America"...ha ha...I don't get food stamps, can't afford a house, just stuck in the middle, so I am paying for everyone who is getting federal money, or can afford to get big deductions...life styles of the poor working middle class...

Yes. I filed both federal and state electronically on 2/3/11. Received the state refund via direct deposit on 2/10/11 and the federal refund arrived the following day.

Due to the changes we finally got ours on the 25th of February. We filed on the 4th but our accountant said that the IRS was holding the returns until the 14th (we filed long form). He estimated the 25th and he was correct. If you go to the IRS website and click on the link "where is my refund?" it will give you the date when your direct deposit will go in.

Glad to hear you have yours. The chart on the IRS says for our acceptance date they were sending them out to the bank accounts on the 25th. Ours still isn't processed.

Filed electronically on the 14th got my refund deposited on the 25th. I used it to pay off one of our vehicles. Now I can put 1/2 that payment towards another bill and 1/2 building up our emergency fund.
