I am trying to do my taxes using turbo tax. I have rental income to claim but I do not have a 1099 misc like it asks for. If I say I dont have a 1099 misc the next thing it asks me to enter is royalties.
How or where do i enter in my rental income using turbo tax. Please help. Thank you

rental income goes on schedule e. dont forget to take the depreciation allowance too. they are going to recapture it when you sell even if you fail to take it. im assuming you own a rental property?

what about expenses , real estate taxes and interest?

Just put zero and move ahead. You may have checked a box you don't need to check too. At the start of where you enter your rental information, there is a box that says "rental" or "royalty", check rental. It will ask if you have any 1099 income, no....
