I've been to a few restaurants during my foodie years...(all prices included 15-20% gratuity)

Urasawa - $1000 for 2
French Laundry - $700 for 2
Momoyama - $500 for 2
Sushi Zo - $500 for 2
Mr Chow - $1000 for 3
Cut - $1000 for 3

All of them were excellent meals and actually worth the money except for Mr Chow.

Is "Mr Chow" part of the Purina corporation?

Interesting thread. We spent $360 total at La Belle Vie in Minneapolis for an anniversary dinner, but its very rare for us to go to restaurants that fancy. When we do eat out (which isn't very often to begin with), we usually go to places where the total bill is <$40 for two.
