After all but disappearing from our mailbox in the last three years we are now getting slammed with credit card offers. We have had about 15 to 20 in the last month. Our credit is still great and I believe it was a national trend that slowed way down after the subprime crisis. Anyone else getting multiple offers?

Yup, back to the same old story. I just think of it as keeping the USPS workers employed. So I guess that's the plus side of it.

You can apply to remove yourself from those pre-screened offers: Prescreened Offers of Credit and Insurance

It's cut down dramatically the junk mail I receive.

Four a month from Chase alone. It's nauseating.

Thanks

We also seem to be in a mail war with Comcast and AT&T Uverse. The credit card offers have surprised me the most though.

I'm getting them, too. I'd closed an account a couple of months ago. I'd gotten the card a decade ago when I was in financial trouble, and it had a very high interest rate. I contacted them and asked that the rate be lowered, and they said no, so I closed the account. Now I'm getting their "come back to us" offers.
