Thank you Selhars! I wasn't planning on closing the accounts, but I was planning on cutting them up as to prevent future use particularly because the APR on them is not so great. I figure if I'm ever in a bind again I can call the company and report the card lost and ask for a replacement. But I really don't want to fall back into this cycle of debt.
