How do I go about doing that?

Right now I pay my rent to my landlord the old-fashioned way by sending her a hard copy check in the mail and it's so annoying! I pay my rent on time every month on the 1st of the month. She never deposits it on time. She'll end up depositing my rent check like 3 weeks later, I hate that! Is there any way I can just set up the account so I can just go online and transfer $1200 a month into landlord's account? and how do I go about doing that?

I really appreciate any feedback you are able to provide.
Thank you!

does you bank offer bill pay?

just send her an electronic check...it gets debited immediately and they physically mail a check...at no cost to you.

Most banks are not set up for person to person EFT's (At least in the US). If you back has Some sort of EBill Pay, you could use that,

Depending on how your bank does it it might draw the money out when it mails the check.
Some Banks, do not draw the money out till the check clears. So you would not get the draw when the check is cut.

I'm not quite sure if my bank does. I bank with PNC Bank, which is an east coast bank.

I will inquire about that with my bank. I just didn't even know what it was called so I'll use that terminology "bill pay" or "electronic check"

I'm just finding it very frustrating that she waits so long to deposit my checks.
I've asked her to deposit it earlier and she agrees to, but never does lol. I'm somewhat at a loss.

My lease agreement stipulates rent to be paid on the 1st of the month. I feel like taking her to court over it for breach of contract or something, but I'm just frustrated is all.

other option is...just set up an account that you deposit your rent into...make sure to have 2 months of rent in there...on then ONLY use that account for rent.

Then your other account is for other things.

I have a couple of accounts that serve their own purposes. Just a thought.

Yea, I have few people who seem to sit on my check for a month or so.

Personal I don't care.
I don't work off the banks balance on my account I keep track of it myself (Will Quicken does) . (I also don't use a debit card so it only "Checks & EBill Pay that go thru my account).
