Hello there,

I file my taxes every year using Turbo Tax Deluxe without having a single issue.

This year, my wife did not have insurance for a few months in 2016, but I indicated that it was expensive in my area and Turbo Tax showed "Good news, no penalty....". so it was waived, But, when I got my MA tax refund deposited to my bank, it was $300 less than the amount I submitted on Turbo Tax, so I called MA IRS, spoke to someone, and she said that I "did not fill out the Health Coverage Schedule", I told her that I did and Turbo Tax told me I owe no penalty, I tell her why this happened and she says "It could be Turbo Tax issue but I am not sure".

Seriously this is annoying, has anyone had issues with Turbo Tax not e-filing correctly? Now I might have to amend my tax return (If I wanted to) which honestly I don't think I will ever bother and will just end up with $300 less in MA refund.

Any thoughts? Should I contact Intuit? Do I have to amend at all? Like I said I will just be OK with the $300 "Penalty" since I might not have a choice.

Thank you!
