Yeah, BOA cut my available credit in half, and sent me some letter saying that seeing I don't use the available credit, I don't need it. In otherwords, I'm not in debt. Screw them.

I called my CC company because they raised my rate 7% in one month. Now they lowered it 2% after I called them (still up 5%). I was quite annoyed but as I stated before, I don't carry a balance. It's sad how they treat you. I'm seriously thinking of closing the card.

My rate is still 12.99 and 17.99 for cash withdrawals. It hasn't changed in years. Then again, it could be 4000 percent....Wouldn't really matter, since I pay it off every month.

Maybe not for long.... I hear some credit card companies are going to try and charge interest on each individual purchase from the date of purchase, instead of a monthly interest. Even if you pay it off every month in full you'll still be charged for the daily interest of your purchases....

Am Ex just dropped my credit limit AGAIN
Never a late payment, always about twice minimum

Ok, I did the -- hmmmmm -- 2,9% "for life" [unless you screw up] is cheaper than my car payment thing was.

I know others who have used good interest for life offers on credit cards to pay higher interest consumer debt.

I also have this on an Amazon Visa
Nothing bad on that one yet

I just want to cut up all my credit cards but worry about my darned credit score but they are shooting it to Hell anyway - regardless of paying on time greater than minimum, no loss of income, good ratios [that are getting worse due to limit decreases] I swear, if they raise my rates on those "agreed on for as long as you carry the balance" terms, I will walk.

BOA sucks. Wachovia sold my credit card to them; glad I don't have a balance on it. They cut my dad's credit limit to $100 before he died. He only used it for major purchases and paid it off in full the month the bill came due out of his BOA account in which he carried a $5000 minimum.

He is gone now, and I am trustee on his account for my mom - I am trying to see if I can do alternatives elsewehre. BOA told me NO I can't change a thing but I don't believe them for a minute. They put me through sheer hell to get on the account and I had to use my own money to care for my mother until I gathered things THEY wanted not required by the trust! And I had the trust documents that had been reviewed by an attorney a month before CLEARLY spelling everything out.

There was an article I read on I believe, the Federal Reserve Board website regarding daily accrual vs monthly accrual. It also stated that CC companies can switch back and forth depending on the balance. I'll have to try and find it later.
