Curious how many of you have reached this number either alone or with someone. Rough estimate of ages?

The magical number of a million no longer interests me since it could have involved two incomes.

Working on million number 5. Achieved the first million at age 49, now 71.

ETA: Never married. Never owned a business.

Passed 2 Million by the time I was 38 years old thru real estate investments during the 2008 recession (Bought a number of foreclosed homes in So Florida in 2010-2012) as well as saving 50% of my salary in upper management job for a U.S. houseware company that supplied product to the big boys like Walmart, Target, Home Depot and others. Luck, great timing and some sacrifice and right long term decisions paid off. Wife of 13 years has been a great partner to help me with the decsions we've made together. I'm lucky to have her in my life. She is just as much responsible for what we have as I am.

Single earner farm family (lots of expenses, little time), hourly night shift wages. Retired pre- age 50 with $2m +. Has grown nicely. Wage income does not build wealth. Spouse was a very diligent saver. Investing and strategy I was on my own. Very risky for me, no parents to advise my early investments.

I do. Single (divorced in 1997, remarried 2003, widowed 2016). About half came from gains on sale of primary residences (compounded at 6%), the rest from just putting aside money from a wage Slave Job and living on less than I made.

We hit $2MM a few years ago. We're in our early 40s now. It was a combination of high income and lucky timing.
