Wow I saw the sticky on top and I was coming to post about this! I’ve had my chase account for many years without any issues. Recently (maybe a month or two) I had to open several claims because I found out a company had overcharged me multiple times. Chase found in my favor for these claims except one which is still pending
I logged on yesterday to a notice saying my account will be closed and they are terminating our relationship. Unbelievable ! I had also Zelled myself money between my chase and another bank account not sure if that triggered some kind of internal security thing.
^^^I suspect, that's probably why. They covered your losses, but you aren't a valuable customer to them anymore (too many claims at once?)
Generally, banks may close accounts, for any reason and without notice, though.

You're probably right. I had no idea that it would be looked at as bad, I never had to dispute anything in my life before, like I said I had this account for so many years with no issue.
My last job that I was at for 11 years paid me by paper check and I faithfully deposited it in my Chase account every week even though I could have used another bank just as easy that didn't charge me a monthly fee because I didn't have direct deposit.
Zelle is just something you can use to send yourself cash between accounts or to another person. For instance, my fiancee sends me the rent money this way etc.
We know how Zelle works. I use it all the time. But you have to set up unique contact info for each account. You did that just to transfer money with Zelle? Yeesh. Too much of a PITA. I want all my contact info the same for all my accounts.

Too much of a pita to add your email to say your chase bank account for zelle and your cell number to your Bank of America account? That’s not really a pita and imo a great way to get instant movement between your bank accounts
Some debit card like the one issued by Paypal gives you a cash rebate,it is your money so Paypal earns a fee and rebate you 5%,if you use it as a credit card.
It is better than carrying a check book.
Some dont have credit card
