I want them to take anything (organs, tissues) they can use for others depending on how I die and then I want to be cremated and spread over the ocean or mountains. I do not believe in getting buried and taking up space and the thought of getting embalmed is nauseating even though I'll be dead. I do not want any memorial service where my body is viewed, I want people to remember me alive.
This poll shows an overwhelming desire to be cremated . I would not want to invest in conventional funeral home stock these days.
The more progressive Parlors have seen this trend , and have installed there own furnaces. They will handle the whole deal for about 1400.00 , including notices , and a ashes container. All done by mail.
My wish for cremation has nothing to do with money. I just find it too macabre to be put in a box in the ground. It takes up space and it's just macabre.
And they try to 'preserve' you with embalming fluids, preserve you for what, that is just sick.
My mom said to just toss her body into the ocean... what a litter bug!
Actually, I wanted to be cremated and dumped into the ocean.... beware you may be swimming in my ashes one day.... however wants me cremated and made into a diamond so that she can always have a part of me with her all the time.... and then mix our ashes together...
I'm, hopefully, going to donate my body to science. Apparently, they'll take what's needed and then pay for my corpse to be cremated. I'm gonna be a cheapskate even in death!
