I was wondering if it is possible to cash out a small pension that I have with Coca-Cola.
It would be 167.00 per month when I turn 65 and is about 45,000.00 now.I'm 49 and would be able to put it to better use in a lump sum than monthly.
If possible what avenue would I take?

167 per month won't help you after 65.

Better to take it out and use it in some other channel.

You need to lok at the option under the retiremant plan of the company. many times taking a cashout reduces the actaul value because of a penalty. Then it maybe that if allowed you could cashoutthe year after retirement and save more on taxes.
