The US has had individual income taxes for 68 years.

It began during a national financial crisis, like which we are now sliding into again.

Federal Revenue from individual income taxes accounts for 28% of the total Federal Revenue.

The facts are:
1. Most of our nation's history has been without the assistance of individual income taxes.

2. We only recently began this.

3. This revenue stream for the Federal government does not provide the majority of Federal revenue.

And yes I do believe it.

Nearly a third of the nation's households manage their money in such a manner as to pay no income taxes.

I am so sorry for you.

I recommend education.

Most US colleges offer courses in 'Tax Theory', you might benefit from such a course.
