Does anyone know if I am able to change the bank account that I have put down to have my refund go into?

Any help would be so very greatly appreciated!

You have already sent in your tax return and designated a specific bank account for the refund to go into, and now you want to change it, right?

I don't know how you would do that.

Now if you want to put it in a different account this year as opposed to last year, you just put down the new account # (I doubt this is what you want to do)

Unfortunately once you give the IRS the account you want to send your refund to, that is it. All they say is that if the account they send the refund to is closed, then they will send the refund to you by check. But if it is open, the refund will go into it, and they can't do nothing (or so they told me last year when I was having issues with the bank I was sending my refund to).
