Which would be your pick if God said:

I'd take the $3 million, money is not worth losing my privacy. Besides, what the heck would I do with $10 million? Even 3 is way more than enough for me.

I guess i should've said $1 million vs. $10 million. Oh well, too late to change post.

That's ok. I'd take the 1 million quietly over the 10 million. Who wants the headaches and hassles from all the people who are "now" your new best friend, lol?

I'm not even sure if I could spend $1 million, if I could, it'd probably take the majority of my lifespan (I'm in my 20's). I live a pretty simplistic lifestyle, by choice.

I would want to win $3M without anyone knowing. If you got $10M and everyone knew you would be annoyed to death by the requests for money.

I would take the $10 million. It's real easy to disconnect your phones and move to a new location (preferably a nice deserted island...lol)

Here's what happens when everyone knows you're rich. It's not really investing related, but I saw it the other day (in a beverly hills search). It fits the example of...if you got $10 m (or more), you'd get annoyed to death from people wanting money. Imagine the attention celebs get from relatives after they make it big.

I'd pick the $3 million and try to make it into $10 m.

^ Somehow I don't think $10m would get you crowds of people following you in the street.

I'd take the $10m. Screw what anybody thinks, or wants from me. I'll give some to my mom.

Most people would do just as well taking the $10m. The $3m wouldn't remain a secret very long, no matter how much you tried. News is going to get out, one way or another, so may as well use the additional $7m to your advantage.

Memories are also short, so the circus would die down soon enough. Use some of the extra money for an extended "vacation" or relocate to another area. You'll end up with the same life and an extra $7m.
