So, we just finished tearing up our cheap carpeting that came with our new house and installed laminate flooring. Poor Fez is slipping and sliding all over the place. I don't want to laugh at him, but it's hard not to.

Just thought I'd share.

Laminate is fun to watch dogs and such on when first installed, worse id ceramic tile and let get wet, we have doggy door and they track in snow and slip and slide.Keep mp handy to clean up so no slipping and hurting themselves.

Awww poor Fez! LOL Our chocolate lab (Monte) hated laminate floor. When we put our new kitchen floor down he'd run from on entrance to the other (2 ways to get into our kitchen) but wouldn't dare put a paw on that floor! We had to move his food and water out onto the carpeting! LOL Eventually, he took the leap and began going into the kitchen. Too funny!

Yeah, he's hanging out in my home office a lot. It still has carpeting... for now. He's adjusting. It's definitely slowed him down, though... which isn't entirely a bad thing.

Really slows down the cats when they get to chasing each other. Turning corners is almost impossible when going fast. Claws are meaningless.

That's true w/the cats, too... our's are used to it already though since we had it in our old house.

The best is when Fez tries to run from a stand still... his legs are moving, but he gets nowhere - like a cartoon.

Please be careful when you have large breed dogs. They are already prone to wear and damage to their hips and joint and floors like this can cause serious problems for them.
