Is there any point in keeping health records, medical bills, etc of a deceased dog? Not looking for sentimental reasons, but I guess legal or otherwise. I'm cleaning out my paperwork with all my receipts, taxes, health records, etc and just want to trim down.
No. What would be the reason besides
Sentimental value?
I agree....unless you are in an active legal dispute regarding the deceased animal I can't think of a reason to keep those records apart from sentimental.
No reason to keep receipts unless they were used as a tax deduction.
I keep the registration certificate, championship certificates, pedigree, and the rabies certificates....and lots of photos..
I've also got all of the bronze bred by exhibitor medallions tucked away somewhere.
