so i have 2 oscar that have eggs fertilize already but i dont know if i should put those eggs in a seperate tank, because i have a arowana red devil the 2 oscar jack dempsey 4 blood parrots 2 convict and a fire mouth also a pleco its a 150 gallon 6 ft... do you think i should just move the eggs somewhere else ? their already fertilize
I would move them, use the old tank water for the new tank, and provide lots of aeration. It used to be recommended to add methelene blue as an antiseptic, I don't know if people still do this.
You can leave them in but the parents may become too aggressive towards the tankmates, and the fry may get picked off one by one anyway. In any case, they will prob have another batch before too long.
Try googling tropical fish/chiclid forums, you will prob get more info faster there. Good luck!
