All 7 of our dogs get a "stocking" the little pre-made stockings full of toys, never enough toys with 7 in the house haha. The 4 cats each get one too. Plus bulk boxes of treats to share for all and special gourmet pet friendly meals. Last year they got some Tur-duck-en pet food and cranberries. The rats will either get a new metal cage or some other interesting toys. They like junk so easy to shop for
I spend almost all my money on my pets lol my dog won't let me sleep on a loft bed without her howling to get up there with me
and I can't let her up with me she likes to pee on the bed cuz she can't get down I slept in the floor for 4 days and I have horrible back pains and my mom bought me a new bed so I can sleep on bed and my little sister had a bed on the ground and we just got a mattress for it a few days ago and she wants to sleep on the ground but my dog wants to sleep with me lol I spoil her to much my other dog who I can't have at a apartment so my uncle took him in till I get a house I miss my baby :'( but his birthday is on mine so he gets what ever he wants because my mom now's all I need is a petsmart card and I am good to go for my birthday so he gets whatever he wants and more but I miss him SO SO SO much I always buy stuff for my dogs and my cats and rabbits and guinea pigs and horses but I don't have all of those I wish tho I am getting guinea pigs on monday tho my old neighbor has 2 horses 2 mini hirses 8 dogs 6 birds about 20 chickens ans is getting a new palomino filly soon and I almost always use to go over there and take care of animals so many memories I hate moving period if u couldn't tell I wanna be a veterinarian I have wanted to since kindergarten and I am in high school 9th grade I studied alot I can name almost 150 dog breeds and I started studying horses and cats my cat I git when she was 3 weeks old she was abandoned by her mom she is also with my uncle I take better to her being there cuz she has friends but my dog is starting to be depressed without me as my uncle has been noticing I am so upset and scared that dog saved my life and I really have emotional problems and he is the only living been who nows how to stop me from being to emotional and he makes me feel safe I can't really sleep not nowing that someone can come in or something I am scared to walk outside at night its getting si bad we really need each other I only have my dads dog and she helps a lil but not as much as my dog did so yes I love my dogs to the bottom of my heart and if u didn't notice I need them right now more than I ever did my dad recently passed and idk whats happening and I need my dog to confort me my mom left when I was 6 and she doesn't know me that well and I telling her but she acts like my emotional problems is a joke and idk only thing thats keeping me from going into depression is my dogs believe it or not without them idk what I would do at this point but because I have them still "keep moving forward" because they need me and I am not letting bad things ruin my life cuz u only have a shirt time and I don't wanna waste my time filling up with bad memories I try thinking of the good ones always and if u read this far thank u for reading it and if u know someone who lost someone tell them this "don't dwell on bad memories think of the good ones"
I sometimes like to imagine that we the people are going to discover that these the pets are from some other planet.
It takes time to heal or at best soften such wounds.
Focus on the good, there is always good of your loss.
