So sad and so sick, Santeria is a dangerous "religion". My ex friend got into that wacky stuff, and she would tell me about the rituals they would do in back rooms of Botanicas with roosters and chickens.
I called the Orlando PD and Animal Police, luckily two of those Botanicas are shut down now from what I hear. I always wondered why people never went after these loonies, it's sad that a mass amount of innocent lives were murdered in order for the truth to come out about these sick sadists.
Call me bitter and cynical....but I read that and thought "If they'd just slapped the name Tyson on the side of their house they'd be A-OK."
Amen, to that sister. Never really thought of the correlation before. Funny how if it's shoes or something nice and soft, it's not so bad. But anyway, those folks are definitely messing around with the dark side...ain't nothing to play around with.
SICK, SADISTIC, TWISTED, IGNORANT PEOPLE, i hope they get theirs, and then some, hope the spirits of these animals, play a nice game with these lowlifes. Gosh people are really freaking evil.

I think that this is evocative of a larger problem. It's one thing to respect and tolerate differing religions and cultures but I think that this is an example of a religion/cultural practice that should not be tolerated.
I think that the U.S. justice system needs to grow a set, declassify this as a religion and convict anyone who practices this "religion" of animal cruelty.
