I am working in Pennsauken, NJ (Pennasauken is close to Cherry Hill).
My wife got a job in King of Prussia (close to the King of Prussia mall).

We are not sure where to rent the apmt.

Should we rent the apartment on the NJ side or in King of Prussia.

We want to avoid the traffic & long commute. We have two cars & we are open to take train/bus.

I & my wife have flexible work time.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks.

I suggest you get a divorce on grounds of incompatible commutes.. haha just kidding...
I recommend Conshohocken to avoid city wage tax. Public transit probably is not practical but you could take the train to Norristown and transfer to bus to K of P. Or your wife could take the train to Center City and transfer to a NJ transit bus.

I think you should live closer to KOP just because going east bound to NJ in the morning is much easier than going west. Conshy would be a good choice but I would avoid taking 76 at all costs. i'd rather take the turnpike all the way to the burlington-bristol before taking I76. if you lived south of KOP (wayne, and other main line towns) you could take 476 S all the way to 95N to pennsauken. i'd avoid living in philly and NJ because of taxes.

Thanks.

Other than Conshohocken are there any other places in between Pennsauken, NJ & King of Prussia that we can consider.

That way it will not be a bad commute to me or my wife.

Plymouth Meeting, which is close to Conshohocken and in the same school district. You could be on 76/276/476 within minutes.

There's also Gladwyne, if you can afford it. What's your budget.

if you lived in or around bensalem, both of your commutes would probably be the same, just in opposite directions. around 30 mins or so.
