Hi All,

So, we are faced with possibly purchasing a tiny home on a lovely acre of land in Perkasie but it's in Hilltown Township. The price is right, taxes are low and it was recently surveyed to be able to "expand later". So my question for those who may be homeowners around that area. How difficult is it to get building permits, expand, add-on, etc in that township? This is a tough decision for us because the lot is gorgeous and private, it's a full acre, sits back about 4 houses from the Dublin area and we feel if we can expand it'll be a good investment but like all new homebuyers we are nervous about purchasing a home that doesn't appeal to the vast masses but definitely could later with expansion.

Thoughts anyone? For the record yes, we have a realtor, she's wonderful and agrees that the house is tiny but could be expanded. She's checking into the township, plot map etc... Just wanted some inbiased opinions as well.

Additionally, it's just us two. Kids are up and out of the house living on their own.

Thanks!
