Of the 3, Avon Grove (West Grove) seems to have the better school scores. Don't know if that helps much. Also, can be less than 15 minute commute to Newark, DE and very close to Maryland border.

A little note at the bottom of the page said to update this thread with new opinions, so here goes: after living one year in Kennett Square, I'm ready to put the house back on the market (though that may be unwise). Love my house, but not the area. Too many yard critters, bugs, big-box stores at every light (what's the point ?) and I HATE once a week trash pick-up. Taxes are going up and sewer and trash removal are ridiculously high. Also too far from friends and family (what was I thinking??).

I will miss driving the back horse-country roads - but that's about it. I'm going to look back in Delco in the Broomall/Newtown Square/Middletown areas.

Thanks for your update on life in that area although sorry to hear that it's not a good match.
