Researching towns in PA to target for a teaching job search...My aunt suggested looking in Chadds Ford. Does anyone know anything about this area? Pros/cons? Culture/nightlife/restaurants/singles/any jobs?

Thanks!

Can this thread be moved to the Philadelphia forum? I think you'd get more answers to your questions.

I think you are putting the horse before the carriage. If you are fortunate to get a teaching job in any of the Philadelphia suburbs, you could then decide where to live. Chadds Ford is a great area to live and to teach which is why jobs there will be extremely competitive.

Chadds Ford itself is a family community where the night life is going to be parents hauling their kids to after-school activities. West Chester and Media are both within easy commuting distance and have much more going on, especially for singles.
