Has anyone heard anything about the Shackamaxon court condos in Fishtown? We were looking to buy, but I was a little hesitant about living right by Girard Ave. Looks like they're building that area up just not sure if it's safe to live there. Any thoughts?

I don't know about that block per se, but I think generally the area around Girard Ave is the better part of Fishtown.

I would suggest going there at different times of the day on different days and walk the area. Anyone can give you their opinion of the area but if you do not get out in it than you will not know if it is for you or not. Moderator Cut
