Hello. I am torn between interviewing for Philadelphia teaching fellows and Baltimore city teacher residency. I am from So.Cal and both interview dates are on the same day. I cannot afford to fly out on two separate occassions for another date.

In both cities, I will be interviewing for a music teacher position. I am very concerned that I will not be able to find a job because music is not a shortage area. I have interviewed for a special education spot in Chicago already.

Also in terms of living as a single new grad (22 years old) female, which city is "better"? I use the word "better" very loosely.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Philadelphia is bigger and more bustling than than Baltimore, and there's more going on. Bigger doesn't necessarily make it better, but I think I'd prefer Philly as a 22 year old recent grad.
