Hello all,

I am preparing to move from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia this fall. I am just now getting started with my apartment search. One question I'd like to ask now is if there are any landlords and/or management companies that have a particularly good reputation with respect to their treatment of their tenants and their properties. I know that this might sound somewhat naive -- landlords more often earn reputations for being bad than for being good -- but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. The management company I am currently renting from in Pittsburgh is surprisingly decent, with reasonable, competent staff and well-maintained properties. So it would be nice to think that I could replicate this experience in Philly.

If it helps, what I'll be looking for apartment-wise is a studio or 1 BR in the $800-$900 range (there may be some flexibility there). I'm just now learning about the neighborhoods so it's hard for me to be specific with respect to that.

Thoughts?
