I am curious what the differences are in these 3 counties. Thanks!

Bucks and Montgomery were settled earlier and have old, inner ring suburbs at their southern ends (like Delaware County) Chester has less older development. Upper Bucks and Upper Montgomery are pretty much like Chester. Chester is the richest county in PA(not a lot of poor people there) Montgomery is second.

Bucks has a lot of forests mixed with farms.

Chester sort of resembles the areas to the west of Philadelphia Metro like Lancaster.

Montco is suburban sprawl, except around King of Prussia where the area becomes more distinctive.

Delaware county is more urban, except for radnor which is very upper class rural.

KOP and distinctive are two things I never expected in combination

Delco- Close to center city, and fairly urban but some school districts are suspect

Montco- A diverse mix of old mill towns, quaint boros, old school suburbs, and sprawling exurbs. Excellent schools except Norristown, but not very racially or ethnically diverse.

Bucks- Like montco except more rural, better schools, and even less diverse.

Chester- Exurban for the most part, but growing quickly

Delaware county remains a very wealthy county, and if it wasnt for Chester, it most likely would be the wealthiest county in PA. Also there are many other nice areas in Delware county aside from Radnor.

Chester County: Very Wealthy, somewhat rural in parts, and the fastest growing county. A lot of wealth spread throughout. Excellent schools.

Delaware County: This county has a mix. The extreme southeastern parts should be avoided, but aside from that Delaware county is very stable and wealthy with many different towns, a mix of old suburbs like Swarthmore, and new money like Garnet Valley.

Mongomery County: A very established county, probably the most built up county, or a tie with Delware county. Monto has a high commercial atmosphere, very busy and crowded, but overall very wealthy.

Bucks: Most rural of the 4 mentioned. Overall very wealthy, this county offers the small town feel more than the counties while still being close to a major city.
