I like the rendering.

I hope they build it!

This was posted a while ago, but I just read that fundraising has started and that they hope for construction to begin in 2016.

Default Change in plans

It seems Carl Dranoff is changing plans for his 22 story building at 25th and Locust from 144 rental units to 88 condominiums. It seems there are more buyers for expensive high-rise condos in Center City than there are units available. The article goes on to reference the spring ground breaking uber-luxury 26 story condominium building unit over-looking Washington Square. Seems a good sign we have a fairly healthy real estate market right now.

One Riverside's luxury units will be condos, not rentals

With SLS International that makes 3 new large scale condo developments happening in Center City, in addition to smaller scale projects such as Toll Brothers 410 Society Hill. Very good news

Indeed. I think the fact that Philly has been able to sustain an increasingly strong luxury market, despite the fact the local economy has been pretty tepid over the past several years (although seems to be gaining more momentum), truly speaks volumes about the city's attraction among the affluent.

Just imagine what the case could be (and I think, will be), as the city/region improves on the jobs/business growth front.

Possible re-purposing of the Royal Theatre: Will the Royal be Royal again?. This would send the upscaling of South Street West into hyper-gear.

This is from a few months ago, but it looks like Philadelphias newest ultra luxurious condo project "500 Walnut St" is off to a good start.
