Excellent news! With this significant project about to start, the electronic billiards above the old Lit Bros building being installed and the opening of Century 21, there is a real transformation of Market East underway.

A bankruptcy? Well, at least the school district will.

It's official! SEPTA will keep 24-hour weekend subway service. This is great news as Philly transit continues to become world class. #phillyiswinning

SEPTA overnight weekend service so popular it's staying

Philly transit has an extremely long way to go before it becomes anywhere near world-class.

Very few cities in the world offer 24-hour subway service. Give credit to where credit is due. Philly transit is improving whether you like it or not. No need to always be negative.

I'm far from always negative. Additionally, 24-hour subway service really does not suddenly make it a world-class system... if only it were that easy. While 24-hour subway service may for good for some--although Philadelphia hardly needs it--it certainly doesn't ring true as any great improvement.
