Not ground breaking, but an old second-hand book store at 21st and Chestnut closed to make way for a "California Closet" which is a custom walk in closet designer. Same with the opening of the custom window treatment store next to American Eagle. Just showing the changing tides of Center City.

As we've discussed, some of these changes may change the very soul of the city. I'm torn about it.

That article mentions the FMC Tower. I had not been near there in a while and, man, it looks like the core structure is already about 15 stories.

The other thing that is happening is that there are some street infrastructure projects going in W. Philly, beyond UC. New sidewalks. Replacing gas mains.
