More startling news about Philadelphia's poverty and inequlity.

Also, Graduate Hospital surpassed Chestnut Hill with highest income.
It's not startling at this point.

But, you know, I don't trust anything coming out the Trump controlled Commerce Dept and the actual 2020 census, which we should be ramping up for by now but really aren't. It will be a clusterf??k because Reps will find a way to underfund it so we will not get an accurate count.

Well, maybe. I own a condo and a house. Wrt to condos one has to deal with HOAs.

I know what you mean, but even if these figures were off by a fair margin, the city would still be in pretty bad shape.

It does appear from the map that CC and surrounding showed a lot of improvement, but the Northern and Northeastern sections of the city have continued to decline through 2018, which leaves me speechless.

The thing is that GH is pretty homogeneous in its housing - without apartments mixed in that house younger, single people, with modest income there is nothing to counter balance the dual income yuppies.

I assume you mean specific to the OTC/Consumer business? As entire companies, Pfizer's market cap is almost 250B. GSK's is well under 100B. Pfizer's pipeline is also poised to bring several double or triple blockbusters to market in the next several years in multiple therapeutic categories. GSK is basically starting over with vaccines and pharma R&D.

Regardless, this is great news for the Philly region as both companies have facilities and investments in our city and PA suburbs...

Yes.

Locally, as you probably know, its history is woven into the fabric of 19th and 20th century Phila.
And 1500 Spring Garden St., the old yellow mother, as some called it, is part of that.
