Nobody wants to be 'that guy' who gives less than five stars, but at least she's honest.
Naturally not every review will be perfect, but the negative reviews (below 3 stars) are generally more personal than a reflection of the restaurant or experience.

She can't be worse than the ridiculous, negative, bitter, self-righteous comments on the Philly.com article.

Really sad how many horrible and negative people are out there.

Quita's 3-star review praised the overall experience but dinged the food for not quite being up to her expectations. Nor was it written in a negative tone.

Her other reviews are similar in tone and content*, so I wouldn't characterize her as one of those bitter commenters. She seems like someone you could calibrate your own reactions to a place against.

*Save for the 1-star review she gave that pizzeria. And as you suggest, that was personal: it arose because the restaurant screwed up her delivery order royally, then asked for the food back (after a long amount of time had passed) when they delivered her correct replacement. What were they going to do with it, eat it themselves?

I just saw on the news that a library in South Philly somewhere received funding from the soda tax to enable the facility to stay open and serve the community. This is excellent! Not only is the tax improving health of our residents by discouraging liquid sugar consumption, it is providing funding for a very worthy cause. Big success... I say raise the tax higher!

LOL... how am I not shocked, Indiana, that you're pro-sugar and an anti-learning. Sounds about right for your style.

What about tourists who want to partake in drinking soda? I certainly wouldn't try to discourage someone from out of state from consuming what they want.

I'm not 'an anti-learning' (maybe you need to hit the library) at all, but kids have smartphones, they don't need libraries.
Most need better parents.

Sugar is fun, btw! Why do you want people to be unhappy? Typical 'progressive,' always trying to curtail other people's fun.

I'd rather see my tax dollars used to hire a better class of teacher to help combat the literacy problem we have in this city.
Apparently, the ones we have now aren't getting the job done.

Sugar is also a major contributor to obesity, not to mention harmful in other ways.

--MarketStEl, Type 2 diabetic. In case you haven't noticed, the incidence of that disease has also risen over the last decade or two. Granted, unlike tobacco, sugar does have beneficial uses, but still we should be consuming less of it.

See, my point exactly. Of course I need to spend more time in the library; everybody could benefit from additionally library time. Hopefully my local branch stays open. Not sure being unhealthy and obese is a world of fun, but if you say so Indiana.
