Job is in Horsham. Currently we live in NJ. Planning to move near work place.

How is newtown, yardley, new hope?
How are the public schools there?
How is the Indian (people from India) /desi population in these three areas? I

heard good things about doylestown/buckingham areas but also heard that its not very diverse.

Thanks

Just to give some perspective, here is the % asian student population in some of the better "Bux Mont" area high schools. Of course, this is all asians, not just indian, but gives you a sense of the diversity. i think you'll notice a trend about Bucks vs Montco in general. it is what it is - if you want to live in Bucks, then your kids will be among the few indians in the school. to some people, that would be a problem, others may not care.

Central Bucks East (Bucks) - 3%
Central Bucks West (Bucks) - 4%
Council Rock South (Bucks) - 4%
Central Bucks South (Bucks) - 5%
Council Rock North (Bucks) - 6%
Pennsbury (Bucks) - 6%
Hatboro Horsham (Montgomery) - 7%
Methacton (Montgomery) - 11%
Upper Dublin (Montgomery) - 12%
Wissahickon (Montgomery) - 16%
North Penn (Montgomery) - 17%

New Hope is a great area with great schools, but that would be a really long drive to work for you!

Have you considered Lansdale or North Wales?

Newtown = Council Rock Schools. Very good.
Yardley = Pennsbury School. Also Very good.

If you are commuting to Horsham, I'd recommend staying near 95/Rt 1 so you can get to the Turnpike to the Willow Grove exit.

Doylestown would be a good option because it's much closer to Horsham, and the schools are fantastic as well. You are correct about lack of diversity though.
