Saw some really nice condo at Shawmont Avenue complex, but it seems from google satellite that it's in a rural area. I'm looking to buy soon a 2bed/2bath in a good and safe neighborhood. My budget is below 200k and we like to buy a place that's built in modern style. Does anyone here live or know any details about the area and the place itself? How far are the local necessities? Like super market, shopping, restaurant, fast food, and etc.

Thanks very much for your input.

It's a good community and the price is right. You'll probably find that most shopping/dining would be inconvenient to walk to but would be a short drive. The community is built about halfway up a hill, so walking up to Ridge or down to Umbria is going to involve a pretty steep walk.

Also, realize that there are two communities within that area, and there is different access to amenities like the pools.
