Clearly he does.

Not really.

People don't get shot dead in "safe" areas. Sorry frank but that's the truth.

Be on the lookout for two perverts in a small silver car in Cinnaminson, NJ. A friend of mine's wife called work today and told him that a car containing two white males drove slowly past their young daughters, who were playing outside, backed up and quick snapped a couple pictures before speeding off. She didn't catch the numbers on the plate, but she said they were Jersey plates.

Did anybody ever mention to the guy comparing Philly to SJ that he should compare suburbs to suburbs, not to a major metropolis. It doesn't make any sense. Compare Cinnaminson to Newtown ...

Are you just carrying on gossip in order to obliquely reference Cinnaminson and certain residents thereof? If so,it's a pretty cheap way to do it

As an outsider looking in, someone who has just relocated to the city this thread can be really usful to

1) Know the worst areas of the city and know what can go on in a big American city that has problem areas
2) Get a sense of what is happening not very far away from you to remind you to always keep your wits about you
3) See the type of crime happening on a daily / weekly basis and know what kind of precautions that should be taken
4) See crime trends year on year

However, at times it feels like it's been been hijacked with people with their own agendas. Almost feeling like a city vs suburbs thread. It's a large American city so I know street smarts occur and I have only been here a few days in reality. However, the high end designer shops, females walking alone after dark, 5 star hotels, friendly neighborhood bars and great restaurants on my doorstep have not really put me on edge. How many people in the worst areas of North Philly are reading this thread going, damn I better not go out tonight? Just saying.

Body found in Wissahickon Creek

Hmm, could very well not be a criminal activity.
