Hi, looking for a nice neighborhood for a young couple looking to start our family. My husband will be going to school at temple university. So need something close to my job at king of prussia and something close to his school too. For now we are looking to rent a house and price is not an issue.

Help please

Would you prefer the suburbs or the city? I assume suburbs but I thought I'd ask first.

Is the part of Bryn Mawr S of 30 challenged? What's the downside?

Not really...its just not as nice as the North side of rt. 30. There are a few areas that have double's or even a row or two of row homes, and its generally on the less expensive side.

Out of all the places listed, I would personally recommend Bryn Mawr. I work there, it is a nice little town that is relatively walk-able for a suburb and has great transit options. It also has some character to the town itself, as opposed to KOP itself, or a place like Plymouth Meeting, which are just big box stores, chain restaurants, and little else.

King of Prussia is a HORRIBLE neighborhood. Don't be fooled, most neighborhoods with malls in them are horrible. Malls are attracted to these areas because of cheap rent.
