I'm curious...where is there a college in Coatesville? I'm not familiar with any in that location.

Exton? There's no college in Exton unless you mean Delaware County Community College.

Totally confused. Your son is going to college so you're moving your family to Chester County??

I would suggest avoiding Coatesville schools. Exton and Downingtown both have good schools.

Yes UTI college in Exton.Thank you for the school info The only reason i was going to go to Coatesville, was the number of single family homes to rent,vs. all townhomes & apts in Exton. Are there other towns you can suggest, that are close to Exton?

Why not Exton itself? Downingtown is between Exton and Coatesville. West Chester is really close and it also has good schools. Really, any school district in Chester county except Coatesville is good.

I would like to be right in Exton, however it seems not many single homes to rent.I so appreciate your help! I am finding tons of townhomes & apts. i have until June to keep looking.I always thought West Chester was expensive.

WC is pretty expensive, but you haven't given a price range or any other criteria except good schools and near Exton. You would get better suggestions if you fill out the sticky on the top of this forum.
