Anyone know whereabouts in the Kennett Square/Southern Chesco area where I can buy that great (and stinky) mushroom soil for my garden? That should be better than any commercial stuff sold at the big box stores. THANKS!!

I get mine at A1 Mulch on Limestone Rd at Rt 1 in Oxford. Its $19 a yard, screened. There should be plenty of outlets in Kennet Sq area as it's the heart of mushroom territory. Just make sure its aged or will burn your plants.

Thanks, Rick...especially about the "aged" part. Do they deliver it to you or do you bring a giant container?

They will deliver, depends on how much you need. If you have access to a small trailer that would probably do. Don't know if they have it in bags---they have a website so you can look it up and call them. I think Lowes sell it bagged if you don't need much. I use 5 yards on garden in spring and get it delivered from Gap fairly cheap.
